Last week, HBO announced that its popular satirical politics show, Last Week Tonight, would return alongside its host John Oliver. In the new trailer for season 5, Oliver can be seen "cutting through the noise" while reading out some too-ridiculous-to-be-true headlines.

Last season saw Oliver call the Dalai Lama the original "woke bae," use techno to warn Trump about Putin and enlist a "catheter cowboy" to help teach the U.S. President about sexual harassment.

With everything going on in the world, from politics to entertainment, its safe to say that we're very excited for Oliver's unconventional take on 2018's important news stories.

Last Week Tonight will return to HBO on February 18 and for those who can't wait, check out the trailer above.
