Eight-time Clio award winner and three three-time Thea Award winner for outstanding Achievement, Mario Kamberg has been at the leading edge of image making his entire career. After graduating with a degree in Environmental Design from L.A.'s prestigious Art Center College of Design, Kamberg has been consistently involved in projects, which have set new standards for visual imagery. Starting at Bob Abel's in the 70's as a visual effects director he moved on to running his own media company for 4 years. Then as their Creative Director started the commercial division of what was then the largest digital studio in the world. "Digital Productions' the only company computing on a Cray Supercomputer. Digital was responsible for producing the first CG feature film "The Last Star fighter", and Mario for the first digital automobile commercial the Pontiac Fiero and the firsts digital mini van for Chevrolet. After breaking new ground at digital Productions he then moved onto Universal LA and Orlando as well as projects at Paramount, Viacom and others. Mario Kamberg has managed studios, large attractions, and designed every variety of show from cartoon to tech. His area of design expertise ranges from architectural and attraction design, show design and large format film design and direction.

He has been at the forefront of the theme park industry with such attractions as: Star Trek: the Experience" installation at the Las Vegas Hilton, "Nicktoons Blast" at Universal Studios Florida, the worlds largest dome projected media experience, _Dragons Treasure (2010)_ installed at City of Dreams Casino in Macau, and most recently "Inspiration of Flight" for the Shanghai Expo's China Aviation Pavilion

From Universals "Safari" attraction a digital photo real underwater fantasy simulator experience to the first 360 3-D underwater experience _Into the Deep (2009)_: created for OCT Eco Park Shenzhen China, innovative technology and integrated media experiences have been the focus of the team at Mario Kamberg Design. As "Safari's" Show Designer, he lead the collaborative effort of MCA's creative staff to produce some of the most elaborate show action queuing areas ever built, including giant moon pools, suspended submarines and a full scale talking dolphin.

Mario Kamberg is involved in supervising all aspects of attraction installation including lighting, audio, and show-effects. He has an intricate working knowledge of the elements necessary to create an interactive film experience. Mario continues creating conceptual designs for a variety of full dome projects in China as well as master planning projects integrated media as the nervous system that drives these living city concepts.
