nspired by true life stories and bold, intimate storytelling, Phillip Andrew Morton is a filmmaker to watch. In just the last five years, he has worked with some of Hollywood's elite as a director, producer, editor, and writer; his work has been seen on television and movie screens across the world. He is currently producing 'The Story of a Village', a documentary chronicling actress Regina King's trip to Africa to help build a school for underprivileged children. (November 2009)

Phillip's passion for cinema started as a young boy in St. Louis, Missouri. By the time he was 4 years old, he was intrigued by the dynamic music videos of early 1980's MTV, specifically the work of Duran Duran, Madonna, and Michael Jackson. After graduating from Webster University with a degree in film directing, he headed to Los Angeles, where he soon landed a job at mOcean, editing movie trailers for box-office smashes such as Ocean's Thirteen and The Prestige.

Side by Side: The Story of the 50/50 Group of Sierra Leone served as Phillip's film debut, editing the film that premiered as part of former Secretary of State Madeline Albright's Women in Politics luncheon, where Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi gave the film a standing ovation. Continuing his involvement in politics, he worked with Chappelle's Show director Rusty Cundieff on a 2008 Obama campaign commercial.

In 2009, Phillip edited and produced Katt Williams' film Katthouse Comedy, then followed it by directing the definitive documentary of Williams' career, The Katt Phenomenon. He also served as a writer for the upcoming documentary Huxley on Huxley, featuring Peter Coyote and Nick Nolte.
