Training: Rex began his training at San Elijo Dance Academy at age 13. Before joining Ballet West he trained at schools such as Pacific Northwest Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School, and School of American Ballet.
Rex has performed such lead roles as Prince Siegfried in "Swan Lake," Prince Desire in "The Sleeping Beauty," Sugar Plum Cavalier in "The Nutcracker,” lead male dancer in Balanchine's "Chaconne," and lead Athlete in Bronislava Nijinska’s "Les Biches." Other roles include Pas De Deux couple in Balanchine’s "Agon," Sanguinic Pas De Deux in Balanchine's "The Four Temperments," and Lysander in "The Dream." While on tour with Ballet West, Rex performed the lead Athlete role in "Les Biches" at New York City Center.
